    Correct but it does indicate mac peeps aren't particularly careful about what they download or what sites they visit. This is going to cause them problems later when we see more mac malware.

    So you'd rather not be able to install the occasional important program from beyond the market ("arbitrary code") to gain a small amount of security instead of just being careful what APK you choose to install? That's sad.

    Until it can be installed remotely or by some kind of drive by download, this isn't a problem. People who run any APK they find deserve to catch nasty diseases.

    No. This education degree stuff is crap. A teacher should have at least a masters degree in the topic they intend to teach.

    The problem is human graders at the high school level only look at the things this program looks at. I've read and graded the kinds of 5 paragraph theme essays they are talking about and we don't look at content. It's sad you can replace SUBJECT in those essays with any noun (frogs, cars, china, hellcats) and the essay makes the same amount of sense.

    Yep. Its very possible to craft an mp3 that can setup a buffer overflow and execute some arbitrary code. Just recently it turned out the Kindle Fire could be jailbroken by such an attack. Id rather not have unpatched vulnurabilities in a car anyway.
