  1. Such an unused potential on Examining Bittorrent · · Score: 5, Interesting

There is such a powerfull distribution mechanism in P2P network, if only the studios/majors/etc would understand it and use it instead of fighting it, their market could explode, while having no distribution costs, their custermers would provide the distribution mechanisms.

But I'm afraid they are not going to get it in time.

My dream about a P2P PVR:

Previously there had been some rumors of PalmOne, the maker of the Palm PDAs and the Treo smartphone, doing Windows Mobile-powered Treo.

All this pretty much feels like PalmOS is having its days counted.

I don't see a use of Linux on a phone
Phone manufacturer aren't interested in Linux to give a fun toy to geeks, but for the same reason Linux is seeing success in the embedded world: High-quality networking stack, good performance, access to source code, no royalty, customizable, and many applications available compared to other embedded OS. 6. IPv6 already in Linux on IPv6 and Wireless Networks · · Score: 1

IBM is planning to add IPv6 to it OS/400, Linux, WebSphere and Tivoli offerings. Hm, Linux already supports IPv6, actually since some time (which version?). Vincent
