The iPod might be easy to mount, but the format of the database which is used to index the music files on the iPod is not documented either and had to be reverse engineered.
I am using the gnupod tools at the moment, which are far from perfect. I also tried gtkpod which was even worse.
Has anyone started building rpms for security fixes for these now obsolete redhat distributions yet?
I am trying to build them myself at the moment, but I think other people might be interested and maybe some company is already thinking about providing commercial support for these versions.
i think its about time that slashdot stories get scoring too, just like the comments. with an option in preferences to ignore scores below a certain level this would make reading slashdot a lot nicer. i guess duplicates would get hidden pretty quick.
as most of you lkml reading people surely noticed: 2.4.15 corrupts data when you unmount a filesystem (for example when rebooting), it doesn't do a sync before the umount.
Back out to 2.4.15-pre8 to avoid it. Or find the patch on lkml.
the only thing I hate about my company motorcycle is that I can't fit something like this in. Well at least not so that it looks good and won't be stolen after two days in London.

Somehow I remember reading exactly the same story about two/three years ago.
I guess newspapers have some kind of archive which they use to fill up their pages over and over again.
and I guess Star Divisions Java version (which is more of a Java-Client/C++-Server combo) is the main reason Sun bought them.
