We have so many problems in this country, social issues that need to be addressed (life or death decisions for some), economical/debt problems that need a solution and you're worried about whether the government will legalize your right to get high so you don't have to worry about getting in trouble for it?

It's the government...they don't do anything efficiently, least of spend money. They hired people to research the technology, give reports, implement, and now they probably pay a bunch of people to actually sit around and gather the data and analyze it (after a computer does, of course). I'm sure I've left a lot of steps out, but you can bet your ass they spent a TON of money on it.
I agree with you in theory, but let's get real: we're talking about the government here, not a rational, intelligent entity.

I have an iPhone on Verizon and have zero connectivity issues, anywhere, data or voice...perhaps you're thinking about the initial AT&T iPhone 4 release?
