When my baby daughter was born, she had this smell. It was like the most appetizing baked good you can possibly imagine. Now I have smelled other newborns, but to me they don't smell the same way. The parents of the other newborns will tell you the same thing though (thus the expression bun in the oven).
Is this the same if the baby isn't yours but the wife is?
forget clones, we no longer have to look for young actor look-alikes to play the part of older actors when they were kids.
clone the old guy, wait a few years and you have them as a kid. In fact, start cloning all the actors out of episode IV now, so they will be about the right age when episodes VI - IX come out...
with careful planning you could have actors that don't appear to age at all...
Nah.. the FBI embed web cams in the monitors at manufacturing time. This is quite a common trick that no-one knows about, and they use it in TV's and computer monitors all over the world. They lose everything as soon as people find out and start disabling them, or typing with the keyboard out of sight of the monitor.
step 1> find an old keyboard
step 2> take it apart, and remove the clear plastic sheets and the electronics (taking care to keep them in one piece)
step 3> lay the sheets on your desk, and place a piece of blank paper over them (the plastic films inside a keyboard are very thin)
step 4> write the letters of your choice (corresponding to your prefered keyboard layout) on the piece of paper, in the appropriate place
The end result looks just like a piece of paper sitting on your desk with letters written on it.
I reccomend that you use a keyboard that has artificial "clicking" sounds, cause there is no physical feedback with a system like this. I used it for a while last time I spilt water all over my keyboard, but you end up hitting the keys really hard and hurting your fingers, even though you know you don't need to...
I think these are two different types of things. Art is creative visions represented physically (or something like that) where as art for computer games are just pictures. Programming can be creative, and graphics for games requires artistic talent, but I would not call game graphics art, as it is not really an expression of anything.
For me, a piece of code, or an elegant mathematical proof is as much art as a Picasso, or Beethoven's 5th Symphony
I really disagree with this statement. Composing music is the ultimate way to express yourself. I would hate to think there is any way to express yourself in a mathematical proof...
``The newly discovered fossils show the first whales were fully terrestrial, and were even efficient runners,'' he said in a commentary in Nature.
So we have this huge creature that can run real fast, and it needed to retreat to the sea?
you've gotta wonder what prompts evolution...
