As I sit looking at my perfect when it was new Voodoo 3 3000 box I ponder. I think the new deal will be better because we won't have to compare Nvidia to 3dfx. I hope everything works out and we can still get the cards we want, not just be forced to buy a few.

I think that INTERNIC determines these but I'm not sure.
I know the DNS server looks up www.yahoo.com and sends you to the correct IP address but who and how they get assigned that address I don't understand. It's like the question, where does bandwidth come from? --Nick D.

I agree. I used Netscape until IE 4.0 was released. Then I used both and finally migrated totally to IE because Netscape doesn't support as many advanced features anymore. And Most websites are optimized for IE now days.

Suddenly you can't afford 1M a year. I mean come on now, as said, 20-50M for ONE shuttle launch and they do several a year plus the International space station.
They could come up with 1M in my opinion.

Ok it is just a little strange when they spend all this time calculating pi. I mean Pi is Pi and it will never end so why try. You already know enough to figure out everything you ever wanted to know.
