    democrat republican divisions.

    The usa is more divided now than it has ever been in my lifetime, and I belive the lifetime of my father and my fathers father.

    What this country needs is an army of slap squads to go door to door and slap people across the face and say "Wake up stop worrying that some of your coworkers are democrats, republicans,liberals,conservative and look at what is going on around you."

    Point- Windmills do not cause "mange in cattle".

    Point- Windmills no not cause "five menstrual cycles a month".

    Point- Windmills do not cause "strokes caused by the sunlight as it pulsates through the spinning turbine blades".

    Point- WIndmills produce noise that is barely audible a few hundred feet away. The noise is certainly not like "the noises Nazi troops tortured Jews with during the holocaust".

    windmills dont but undercooked tv dinners certainly cause all that stuff.
    I should know i have to put blankets over my cattle this winter.

    Those people just need to ensure they are cooking thier tv dinners properly.

    Its called responsibility.
    People or companies must be held responsible for thier actions.

    While you or I wouldnt allow our factory full of workers to get face cancer just so we can make an extra 7 dollars a day per person , not everyone has the same principles.

    The people calling for tort reform are the same people that want that extra 7 dollars a day.

    Be very wary of someone that wants laws to be changed to alleviate responsibility.

    The article didnt mention any reason why a computer would not be able to do this.
    does anyone know anything more about this.

    makes me wonder is this is some sort of trial to test a distributed voulenteer workforce and they needed something interesting to get participants.

    Transformer oil used to contain PCB (Polychlorinated Biphenyls) bad toxic stuff.
    I dont know the year oil manufacturers stopped using it but be wary of old stuff with cooling oil.

    hey if we build huge unerground bunkers and make everyone live in them we will be safe.

    shoot i forgot what if a terorist is inside the bunker.

    hey if we build individual safe zones inside the bunkers with reiforced concrete and steel doors that hold one or 2 people then we will be safe.

    Yea and then we can have exercise times that we can go outside into a secure area watched over by many guards in towers and stuff to keep us safe.

    crap terrorrists might have a pointed piece of metal or something to attack us with in the exercise yard , we better just stay in th epersonal safe zone and never go out.

    I think the average joe would be hard pressed to get any type of help by the man if thier blogg is being attacked.
    This law exists for one reason and one reason only, so the man can screw the little guy some more.

    Do you think if someone is annoying you on your blogg you can call the local police and they would spring into action to extridite the 14 year old kid from kansas or texas or whereever 1000 miles away puts him, nope but go ahead and criticize your local senator and you will be in for a big suprise.

    whats the deal with cruise ships ?

    many states have laws against the possesion of slot machines and gambling accessories yet these cruise ships are allowed to dock at these states, take on passenegers then cruise beyond the limits of the laws to gamble.

    sure that window will help.
    Now i can see the click of death as well as hear it.

    Are you gonna mount the drive outside the case so you can see all those things you talked about ?

    or better yet maybe a strobe and a high speed camera so you can slow the motion enough to actually see whats going on.

    This has limited uses in diagnostics unless you have a lot of free time to fud around trying to determine by sight whats wrong with the drive.
    Time would be better spent running diagnostics and replacing the drive.

    This is just a cosmetic thing for people whos computers are not used as tools but as hobbies.

    For the multitude of computers out there that are used as tools everyday this will not be utilized , unless some it department somewhere decides that the 16,000 desktops in the company will be better with windows on the drives.

    compare only os vulnerabilities.

    release the source code so thousands of people can review for vulnerabilities.

    if that is all that was found on the nix os's and app's with the number of people reviewing the code, in the whole year of 2005 who can complain that its insecure.
    and that list is across all releases.

    I wonder what would happen if ms and just about every vendor of ms platform software releasesed thier sources to the world for review.
