I think its time for the OpenSource community to be able to defend its projects from threats like this one.
When such imbecile suits are filed against a project the email addresses(info,support,etc...) should be posted with the article whether on slashdot or elsewhere and we should all/. their mailboxes.
Of course, that's just one mean of defense and others should be thought about.
Im wondering why MS is FUDing the OSS Movement so much lately...
And I think it has to do with all the support available in the 2.4(USB,pppoe,etc...) 'coz since the release we had Balmer, the windows guys(cant remember his name) and then Mundie, so what is it?
It smells like panic.
1- 2.4 has enough hw support to make linux a serious competitor to Win for clueless users.
2- Linux is not a corporation thus MS is confused about how to defeat it?
3- The quality of OSS in general is getting too good to be ignored?
4-...
Does anyone know where I could find a OS X beta?
We're on the list to get the real thing when it gets out but for development speed we would need a beta copy which apple took off their site.
This one is a free application that provides people with a way to share music and other media while keeping track of all the transfers to be able to pay the artists.
la creme de la creme(both creme spelled the same) is right in that context though la piece de resistance usually means the main dish of a meal so one might argue that this expression is out of place...
When I saw the movie I wondered if Sun was involved in the production. We see the Sun logo in the background when Milo and his friend get their prices and they seem to be programming in Java if Im not mistaking...
Your comment is weird. You are judging Norway on things you would find in the US.
Of course coke and McDonalds are more expensive in Europe. Those are American products.
That doesnt mean that eating well costs more. Having been to France(Not Norway but still) and the US, I can honestly say that eating and drinking well is cheaper there.
Its like youre saying "Its more expensive to live like an American in other places than the USA"
If you want the European feel and another language than english you can always come to Montreal. You wont have to learn french but you will hear it around you.
Plus the IT business is booming here.
Vikings came to Newfoundland years before to fish, but we already knew that for a while they even teach it in high school history(well here at least).
Not only is this a offtopic flamebait but you post it on every damn thread.

Better yet flipr.com...
www.flipr.com is a better model.
1-They pay the artists 4cents a download
2-The client is free for users(there's also a value-added client you pay for though)
The system is built, its in beta testing right now.
You can register to become a beta tester thru the site
To be totally accurate there's a little park under the Eiffle tower in Paris called Champs de mars thats where it all starts.
There's also one in Port-au-Prince in Haiti.
And yes its a metro station in Montreal too.
French speaking people are consistent,hey!
