What Comcast seems to fail to realize is that they are an effective monopoly in much of the area that they serve and monopolists aren't allowed to just go out and do as they please.
You can do anything you want with enough money, lawyers, and lobbyists; and they have a lot of all three!
I applaud consumers who let producers know their product/service sucks. Movie piracy exists by the hand of the movie industry itself! If they didn't make so many crappy movies maybe the public would not feel ripped everytime they walk out of a theater.
I can't fault anyone for pirating a movie... I'd lean more twords encouraging it, as I am personlly sick of feeling like I have had my intellectual property, my brain and an average of 2 hours of my life, stolen everytime I see a bad movie.
Piracy minimaly affects the sales of good movies. Look at LOTR, The Matrix, and Star Wars... All were released far before their theatrical debut and all did extremely well!
setup a booth with some nice TVs and game consoles. While most college students will be drawn in by lights, sounds, and the prospects of playing video games for a careeer. You should jump at the first nerd you see who shows up with a screw driver trying to mod your 360 or wii on display.
A good candidate will ask quesitons and be interested in you and what your company has to offer, the rest will just play games. You can also rest assured that no one else will have a wii and a 47" plasma to play on.:)
Reliable as in holding critical updates for weeks on end and not fessing up to your customers as to just exactly what it is you are patching. The only thing Microsoft does reliably is piss people off and dissapoint. The only thing more reliable is the rate that windows born viruses are spawned.
Now all they need to do is figure out a way to legaly grandfather in all previous GPL'd code to be v3 compliant. I think the FSF needs to start investigating every software vendor on the planet. I'm sure there's some open-source code in there somewhere.
I think the US patent office is to blame fo 99% of all the leagal issues in corporate america today. Before we know it someone will patent CO2 and then sue us all for expelling it when we exhail.

If your product is not selling as good as a competitor's, then you need to take into serious considderation that your own product may in-fact suck. I guess it's a lot easier to sue someone than to make a decent product anymore...
wonder how long it will be before movie goers start to wear hats covered in Infrared LEDs? If everyone in the theater wore them them, the ushers would be blind!
