I'm not exactly sure how this can be useful since the "robot" has no arms.
Why do so many people have this misconception that a robot has to be humanoid, or have mechanical appendages. A robot is simply any machine that performs tasks automatically. A record player is a robot. A printer is a robot. 'cron' could even be classed as a logical robot.
If you mean the black ovals that appear in the top right corner of the screen, these are used to tell the person showing the film when to switch to the next reel. You will notice they flick up twice; the first time to indicate to get ready, and the second time to indicate to flick the switch. The transistion always occurs at a scene change so that the audience don't notice any jumps. I have never worked in cinema so I have no idea whether this is still the way films on reel work today.

Virtua Figher 3 for Dreamcast... - Man that game was awefull compared to the god that is soul calibur...
Using the word 'aweful' instead of 'awful' completely changes the meaning of this sentence, which to a VF fan like myself is quite pleasing:)
I own both Soul Caliber and VF3, and even though i am a great fan of the VF series, I must say Soul Caliber is an excellent game. Having said that, I would buy a PS2 just for VF4:)
I think we all know why water gushed out on to the surface of Mars; one of the pipes supplying water to the subterranean civilisation must have burst. I think it is obvious from all the facts (ie. 1950s B movies, War of the Worlds, wild speculation) that there are people living under the surface of Mars where it is toasty warm.
'no two chips that are the same. "Each one will be customized for a particular function"'
This interprets as HP are making chips configured completely randomly, and when they come off the fab., they will test them to see if they have any particular function.
"hey look this one can find prime factors"(?)
This also explains how they will "fix" imperfect chips.

Saying that it never fails but only ceases to be applicable isn't really a good pro-obscurity argument. If i was selling you a burglar alarm and said it will always always work and never fail, but it might just cease to exist.. would you buy it?

Of course a robot can be useful without arms!

Also, I can bend spoons with my mind.
