I certainly hope this dosn't mean that uni's or colleges can just simply read the students mail. It should matter where the mail is. It is still directed to one person, and only that person. Just because the college or university has a mail deposit centre for the post office to drop off mail to all the students living in residence, should not grant them the right to read it just because they are holding on to it until it is picked up. Same goes for Email, just because its passing through several hops to get to its destination dosn't mean they the admin for those hops gets to read all the mail. So what does it matter if it goes through the hop or stops at the college, shouldn't it still be a private message protected by some sort of 'mail' law? Or do the laws just get tossed out the window when it comes to the internet.... ah well, maybe im just confused.... anyone elses opinion would be good.
I thought man's worst invention was speech and technology. Wasn't it alot simpler when the only thing we had to do was kill our supper, knock the wife over the head with a club and have a few kids, and repeat the same process until we were one day eaten by a larger animal... ahh, those were the days.
Out of all the mp3 players i've seen on the market (i even fell victum to purchasing the RIO --- i know, shoot me now) the MPTrip is still the best buy i can find. All the other big name mp3 players out there are way too over priced and the mpTrip is less then $100 US. The thing i like about it most is the fact that it plays MP3 CD's, Audio CD's and even compliation discs. Not to mention it actually has anit-shock technology that works. But this is just my opinion, if anyone else knows of any mp3 players that are decently priced and does everything the mpTrip does if not more, please let me know.
Where does google get its money from, like someone just said, they dont have any ads on thier site (which makes it very nice, simple and powerful) but really.... whos paying for it? Some spoiled rich kid?
so when are we getting the technology to beam the information directly into our brains, you know, aside from using the technology found in UFO's to do it...
If I were to hook up ten of those button sensors to my finger tips and just think of the letters, would i be able to type faster?

Come on people, the best game to choose for strategy would have to be the orignal Myth. It was a great game, because you could not build hordes of guys to just simply overrun the other players. It was all about planning your attack and not wasting any of your men, becuase you only had a set number to begin with.
Now if you want a game where you need to build an army to accomplish your task, then I would have to say Homeworld. It is is one of the only games where you could be attacked from any possible angle, it is one of the best games for a completly 3-D environment. You could be attacked from above, below, left, right or any other angle. Anyways, thats my two cents...

When i was in high school and we just got the internet, our computer teacher had some 'network' guy come in and implement some new 'security' so that students couldn't get into the systems with out a user account assigned by the teacher. Low and behold the teacher announced that nobody would be able to get into it but were welcome to try if they wanted. One of my buddies looked at me and said 'go ahead knight, i'll give you 10 minutes before your in'. Needless to say that i did get in, it was just a simple config file that needed to be edited, but when i showed the teacher that i was through his 'unbreakable security system' he had all my computer access revoked and sent me to the principle's office for my punishment. The funny thing was, as soon as i got back into the computer lab, i had a program running for my final project which was a keystroke log program that had recorded my teachers password. So i gave myself access to the system again and removed the teachers access. It was rather amusing watching the head of the computer department for the high school baffeled as to why he couldn't log on to the system. Now i'm not suggesting taking my course of action to get back at the school, that would be wrong, but it sure felt good to put the teacher in his place for putting the challange out and then punishing the me for accomplishing the task. Just thought i would share this story with you....

Do you think Iraq is going to highjack most of the shipments and try to assemble them all together to make a super computer to take over Brazil?
