You know, I really love ask slash for the insightful stuff that is usually put up here (a little sarcasm intended). I've been reading ask slash for almost 1 1/2 years now, and have seen at least one rant per story about how the submitter should have run a search first. Well, here's my turn:
Time Warner's Road Runner actually encourages NAT's -- they'll even sell you special software to do it with Winblows:)
(I think they're just stingy with their cable modems)
The Blackberry is awesome! I had mine for a year and a half (until I gave in to my friends and got a Palm VII). Check out either one -- I still prefer the blackberry, but since most everyone else I work and interact with either has a Palm or Handspring, I can't go back.

1100MB on 56Kbps (~6KB/sec FULL throttle) is 52.4 hours!
1100MB on Cable/DSL (say ~200KB/sec) is 1.5 hours!
