We know this because every new release of every new product starts with an artificially limited supply which people wait in line for days to get. The mindless frenzy and desire makes their stuff perceptually more valuable.

Circumstantial evidence appears to back Zimmerman's story. But that's not enough for some people. So under this situation, because the victim is a legal minor, should we simply accept the fate of conviction simply because we don't want to blame the victim?

If you were robbed at gunpoint, let's say, and you fought back and won leaving the victim dead... and the victim was also a young black male (keep in mind that this scenario has played out numerous times in fact and in reality -- please don't deny that young black males have performed armed robbery) would you give up your case because it would might seem "unseemly" to accuse the dead? YOU KILLED A CHILD!!! Right?

In this case, the factors are simply not clear. The victim cannot speak, but the public is speaking for him in the form of doctored photos, out of date photos, ommissions of various sorts and, of course, out-right denial.

Please tell me how a fair trial could occur unless the defense is allowed to substantiate his case?

Zimmerman is visibly hispanic. But the ethnicity of any of these parties isn't entirely relevant except for the fact that he fit the very profile of the criminals which were, at the time, visiting their neighborhood. It is the public outcries which are making this a racial issue. Want to blame someone? Look to the people who make the initial claims of racial bias.

Or, instead are you only concerned that the victim is dead and you presume is blameless for the encounter and its result?

I am in favor of getting at some truth beyond reasonable doubt. If you seek to limit the evidence presented in defense, then, in the words of Samsung's lawyers, "Why have a trial at all?!"

One of the driving factors behind the design and intent of the US justice system is to give the accused the most fair trial process possible. It might disturb someone to consider the notion that defendants have rights... that is, until you become a defendant yourself eh?

    - Malpractice law... I don't have experience per se, but I think malpractice is kind of bullshit. I think every doctor wants to do a good job and certainly whatever is best for the patient. Doctors are human and don't know EVERYTHING.

    - Education trolls? Sorry... I don't follow. I know what the educational systems are up against. I see no trolls there. Education has been and remains on the losing side of things. Want to fix the problems? Stop paying school administrators $300,000 a year and do something about the cost of books.
    - Disability lawsuit trolls? Hold insurers responsible for honoring their agreements and hold employers responsible for their working conditions. Auto accidents? Sorry, but that's got to go. Driving on the public streets are an unpredictable hazzard. Short of criminal negligence and drunk driving, that's as far as it needs to go.
    - Defense appro... what?! We know they waste money. But to call them trolls? No. They sleep with the government to get their favors. This practice goes by a different name. Not troll.
    - Green energy research is simply required to make any sort of progress. There was no progress into space without "useless research" to get us there. Not every bit of research turns into viable results. Without it, we are stuck in a hopeless cycle spinning around until we die.
    - Shareholders NEED to sue the companies who are not representing their interests. The capital raising jackasses who sell interest in their companies and then do not follow the interests of the shareholders are committing fraud. I just can't get behind that.
    - Race grievance trolls? Hell yeah... get rid of them. In this world, you have to play the game by the rules. Sometimes you can change the rules to suit you, but mostly you just join in under the existing rules and maybe change the game from within. There was a time for race equality. But now? It is simply crap.
    - Class action trolls. There needs to be a better way and there should be rules for that which do not include lawyers getting millions of dollars. They need to get their hourly rate and nothing more... and it needs to be reasonable. This definitely needs regulation.
    - Farm trolls? I'm not sure that was their idea. At least initially, it was to keep farmers from over-producing and the product from being undervalued. Individual farmers will not do this without incentive. There has to be a better way, but it can't be by socializing agriculture.

But generally, I agree with you. There are a LOT of players out there sucking the life out of the economy. They should all be dealt with. The problem is that you view resembles the views of Adolf Hitler. I don't disagree with Hitler... except for, perhaps, his methods.

But I'll just leave you with this:

Humans are animals. And the chemical and biological content of each human determines thought and behavior. You can go into spiritual ideas all you like, but at the end of the day, we ALL understand that chemical and biochemical influences on the human body occur and lead to all manner of behaviors, both good and bad and everything in between. The first is a person who was clearly frustrated with his neighborhood and the crime going on all around there generally committed by "not middle-aged white females" if you get my drift... also a person who had his own issues of self-importance and lack of good personality control. Not an ideal condition on Zimmerman's side of things. The second is a community which supports and defends all young black males with blind faith against anything and everything. (Check this story to see some obvious parallels: http://www.wnd.com/2012/10/black-mob-picks-the-wrong-guy/) It does not matter to them that the deceased was a person with behavior problems of his own or that he had a documented past of similar behaviors to the ones being alleged as the cause leading to his death. The media fell into place siding with the religious support of a young black male and has blocked every attempt to update the story with truth or facts.

At the end of the day, it should be the truth and the facts which SHOULD bring a conclusion to the case. Unfortunately, other factors are in the way.

The days of the PC are coming to an end. The PC itself will still be around, of course, but it will be relegated to what is should have always been -- a data and service access device.

The thing is that Microsoft really seized into an opportunity by making itself the one main OS. We all watched as Microsoft built its Windows into what we see today. Protocol standards being embraced and extrended all over. The protocols only Windows used being adapted into standards and implemented under Linux. Document formats... most of us have witnessed the unfolding.

But with the web and the push for standards, even Microsoft could not hold off the inevitability. Microsoft wants badly to own and control the standards platforms everyone operates from, but they are developing faster than Microsoft can maintain while at the same time maintain its core products and services.

Microsoft is still very entrenched and they are still playing their strategies hard and will slow the downhill slide as people and business begin to favor and demand support for devices which are not PCs running MS Windows. All Microsoft phones and tablet efforts so far have been rejected and determined to be a failure and all predictions say this will not change. Microsoft is unable to leverage its PC monopoly to grow into other markets as people are generally untrusting of anything with Microsoft on the labels of handhelds and other devices... and if they tried, they will no doubt find themselves back in court.

I find it difficult to imagine anything other than Microsoft shrinking down to its core and waiting for its next opportunity or simply being killed off by the next thing... the next thing which hasn't come around just yet, but it's not hard to imagine some form of Android stepping in.
