then you'll want Glide. Glide mode in EQ looks substantially better than Direct3D mode, even with the DX7 patch. I should know, I upgraded my Voodoo3 to a GeForce2 GTS and EQ looks kinda crappy now. I for one hope nVidia releases Glide drivers with the Detonator4 drivers.

So your 1 year old GeForce3 can play 2 year old games based on 3 year old engines (Unreal and QuakeII respectively)? I'm impressed.
Maybe when you start playing current games at high resolutions with all the bells and whistles on you'll appreciate the GeForce4.

Has anyone mentioned the fact that it will be Pioneer releasing Akira is a Good Thing©? Every Pioneer anime DVD I've watched has been excellent technically... the image and colors are sharp and their THX certified DVD's are awesome on a good Dolby Digital 5.1 system. A few you should check out just as show off disks to your "Is DVD that much better than VHS?" buddies are the Tenchi Muyo movies and Armitage III.
