One more reason to never talk to police without your lawyer present. In fact, not even then. You talk to your lawyer and your lawyer relays what you said, in carefully edited form, to police. That way what you say can never be used against you.
Yeah, it's the same thing almost exactly, only 20 years later. That significantly reduces the cost of the hardware, I suppose, but there's also less market-not-being-served now than there was then so both the cost and the revenue arguments are significantly impacted.
A few hundred satellites at 750 miles altitude are not really that much of a problem, unless you're orbiting at the same altitude. Space is big. Even LEO is big.
I think we do need an international agreement on orbital bands. Human spaceflight OK in some bands, others reserved for cheap junk, others reserved for expensive junk, so the cheap junk doesn't take out the expensive junk or the humans.
And make sure that that password manager is only able to run locally and NEVER transfer your password file, even though it's encrypted, via a non-secure means. If you have it on a mobile device make sure your device settings prevent it from being uploaded to a server that you do not own.
Considering Sony's HUGE corporate interest in making sure everybody obeys copyright law, if this really happened it could only be a screwup and if that's the case, they'll settle. There's absolutely no rationale for them to fight the claims if they're true.
Carter graduated from the Naval Academy in 1946. Clinton studied politics and law in the 60's and early 70's. There wasn't much chance back then to program in those programs. However, Clinton had a reputation of being always curious about details and it wouldn't be at all surprising if he asked somebody to show him how to make a computer do what he wanted it to do at some point, maybe to help Chelsea with her schoolwork.
Unless Sony shows that they did have a contract. I seriously doubt an outfit like Sony wouldn't just replace her music if the couldn't get a contract, and I seriously doubt they couldn't get a contract.
From the abstract of the original article: "When hydrophobins and hop extract together were submitted to magnetic fieldmore gushing was obtained than in the absence of magnet. This is due to the extensive dispersion of the combination by the magnet and can be limited by using less amount of hop extract."
However, I think the idea that they're going to be able to magically fix your metabolism so you won't get fat by taking some drug that WON'T HARM YOU sounds a little far-fetched.
I mean, for it to work it has to change either your basic metabolism (which sounds incredibly unsafe) or interfere with the fundamental behavioral food-seeking function common to all animals.
Word grammar checking is better than what most people post, unedited, on the web. In fact, it's better than copy produced by major news organizations and that's (in theory if not in practice) reviewed by professional human editors. And it's way better than the shitty grammar checking you get with LibreOffice, for instance.
In this instance, they're looking at patterns of behavior. A man who has cheated on his wife is likely to do so again, and the government thinks that cheating on your wife is likely to indicate a propensity to cheat in other contexts and to have trouble resisting sexual temptation, which is one of the most common way that people are persuaded to give up secrets. Blackmail is another.
It would be nice if the government published studies of risk versus risk factor. How important is a felony conviction or an affair or having smoked pot as a predictor of security risk? I think companies would like to know, but who's got the stats to say what is or isn't a serious risk?
The Bakken formation is in northeastern Montana and northwestern North Dakota and extends up into Saskatchewan. If working there you might be housed in a place like Bainville. From there you would drive about 360 miles on I-90 and I-94 to Bozeman before getting off at Glendale. At 75MPH, that's 4 hours, 40 minutes. At 85MPH, that's 4 hours, 14 minutes. So the speed limit difference could cut 26 minutes off your drive. If you were counting the round-trip difference, it's about 52 minutes, so close to what he was saying. You might do that every week or two if you were working in the oil patch and "living" in Bozeman.
However, I don't think it's realistic to drive all that way at 85MPH. You'd have to slow down at times.
Marijuana slows reaction time and I think makes people less able to concentrate. So it definitely interferes with driving. Having a test to measure a person's level of intoxication is a good thing.
Arbitrary spelling that must be memorized for every word?
Ambiguous syntax?
Homonyms?
Homographs?
Vagueness in general?

Like your smart phone?
I got a kick out of this one.
(changing password now)

Bingo! This is your only real recourse. Also, change your password and if possible lock or delete your account with them.

Plenty of them did. You just don't hear about it because it's NOT NEWS.

If that and he had been dealing in illegal drugs... yes, he would have been charged. What, nothing on the attempting-to-hire-a-hitman?

It could only work by starving you or depriving you of your favorite foods, so no luck there.
If by that you mean "most people" I agree.

How's that going to work?

You mean Toy Story. "High pressure space wings."
The FAA's still not allowing commercial use of drones. So what's this about?
My guess is they're looking for evidence of corruption in the procurement contracts.

Driving a DeLorean is a trip back in time. No flux capacitor needed.
