Our company switched to Cisco IP phones from an aspect phone system back when IE7 was just coming out. I don't know how much our company saved, but those who knew said it was a lot. The only limitation now is that the client software can only be installed on a system running IE6. Here is the field notice stating the issue. That means that we are stuck with Windows XP unless our company pays Cisco about $300,000 to upgrade their software. There is no problem with upgrading to IE7 or IE8 after the fact, but the client software can only be installed or reinstalled with IE6. All of the web based applications that we use work fine with IE7 and IE8. Unless my company has to start using some software that won't work on Windows XP, they are not going to spend the money on the upgrade.
I think the price increased to $30 million. There was an article posted last year that mentioned that the price went up and that they would discontinue the space tourism after this year.
I have been finding that all new smaller vehicles built for fuel efficiency are uncomfortable for me. I'm 6'4". I don't want to drive a vehicle that gets less than 30MPG, but no one has designed an interior that works for me. This could be fixed with tilt/telescopic steering designed for tall people. If I find a car that has enough head and leg room, it will almost certainly lack the telescopic steering needed so my arms don't have to be straight out to hold onto the steering. The Europeans may get the better mileage with their deisel engines, but I have never read anything saying that tall people there are comfortable in their smaller cars.

Are any of the Anime shows dubbed in English without altering the dialog and content? I would rather listen to the English voices on Cowboy Bebop (Cartoon Network), but get the dialog and action of the unedited episodes. This might be my own American bias, but the Japanese voices don't sound as distinctive as the American voices.
I have Showtime and HBO stations that say they are HDTV. Will this card or one of the Hauppauge cards give me 1080i on my monitor through the coaxial cable or do these cards only work with satellite and antennas that pick up the local HD stations for ABC, CBS, and NBC? I am having a hard time getting a clear explanation on any websites. I can never find anything that explains how this works with a cable service.
Is this movie similar to The Fisher King

I know Kevin Spacey and Robin Williams play different types of personalities, but does Jeff Bridges' character come to the same sort of realizations as he did in The Fisher King.
I just answer with hello and listen. If there is a moment of silence, I assume it is a computer and hang up. I have yet to get a call back from someone saying that I hung up on them.
That is a poor excuse.

Your friend's view is distorted. It sounds like he is saying, "To hell with everyone else. If most people don't care to fix the problem, then why should I try and make a difference." How can he know the path that is set for the world. Everything changes with time. There are people in every generation who see the end of the world coming within 50 years or so. In my encounters, these people usually don't have children. They don't see beyond their own selfish needs. They just want to live their life and condemn everyone else.
I think these acts of eco-vandalism are caused by people who are trying to fill a void in their life. They are looking for something to live/die for to give their life meaning. They choose to live outside the boundries created by society, so they don't feel guilty about their actions.

why is this such a big deal. Why can't we have cheap transportation now. Does anyone remember the TV show Salvage starring Andy Griffith? He played a junkyard owner who built his own rocket and flew it to the moon.
If the US government would stop any sort of independent endeavor, I'm sure there are third world countries that wouldn't mind boosting tourism by offering trips into space. By cutting back on regulations and safety precautions, some ambitious entrapaneur could provide the cheapest space flights in the world. This would create competition and bad publicity for NASA. They would be forced to bring costs down to compete or otherwise lose government funding. I might be wrong. I'm no economist either.
That was Baaaaa
