These people in this article are INDEPENDENT CONTRACTORS not rank and file employees. Why the hell do they need a union?
Not very good advice. It places both the child and parent in physical danger. I've seen people attacked when they didn't seem to be doing enough to quiet their child down, especially in movie theatres but also in supermarkets.
Why do you we have higher moral expectations from our daughters than we have for our sons? Why is the burden on the female to retain her morality while the boys get to "sow" their oats?

How many currently rich geeks and nerds would have even survived childhood alive without the protections expected and provided by various levels of municipal, state and federal government? What would be there to stop anyone who decided they wanted to from attacking and stealing the things the rich own? You'd have a much smaller amount of middle class and upper class folks because not even all of they can afford to pay for their own 24/7 private security.
Charities? If they're so good then why are the causes they exist to solve still around? Some charities have been around for a century or more yet no lasting progress. Not exactly the best solution for the problems they attempt the address now are they?
What libertarians as a whole do not seem to understand is that the purpose of a society is not to see who can win/survive in the most savage, primitive, undignified and brutal ways imaginable just to satisify the semantic definitions of absolute individual freedom. It is to provide a maximum level of comfort for the greatest amount of people it possibly can.
Do you honestly think that all the money you pay in taxes goes towards law enforcement? Even if you used all of your tax money to pay for personal gaurds, where will get the money to pay for all the other things the government used to do? How will you maintain the roads? Will we all need Hummers to travel from city to city? When diseases run rampant and there is no government funded CDC to study and combat them what will you do?
I could go on and on and on but I would much rather know this, WHY do you SEEK to live in such a world? How could your mental processes be so corrupted to think that such a state would be preferrable to what we have now? Are you just criminaly bored, sadistic or both? Are you seething thru your teeth that there are people currently alive who would not survive for 5 minutes in a Libertarian's Dream World of Brutality and Inhumanity?

Did you not notice how badly Japan's economy has been sucking for the past decade? Salary caps decrease the willingness for people to innovate and be an entreprenuer which is what any economy needs a lot of to keep job growth and creation strong. Centrally planned economies with artificial salary caps HURT the economy, they don't help it. The market will dictate what every worker from the lowest to the low to the highest on high will get paid.
By capping salaries at the top you don't redistribute wealth, you destroy it. No one gets the difference from what you capped. But you wouldn't understand that would you? Its not like you have even the most basic of a grasp on economics do you?
