    if you want to put a few limits on them then

    1 what ever software you come up with needs to be on a Gateway System that your kids computers connect to
    2 this system of course needs to be in a Secure Room.
    3 of course if they manage to Hack In then you need to increase your security as needed.

    But the best thing to do is be cool with things since the best defense is to make sure that your son seeing a girl less than fully dressed is NOTHING SPECIAL (and vise versa).

    If at all possible work out a map of your school with all the needed "waypoints" so that you do not waste time getting from class A to Class B. Bonus points if you can actually see some/all of your teachers.

    oh and a bit of a tip as soon as you get your school email address start signing up for the various company school programs

    I would bet that even if it was later set to ON (from default OFF) some advertisers would say

    But we recorded you on 09/15/2012 at 15:24.35 as opting IN to our program and our policy is to not recheck past the first time.

    so whenever a browser dumps and has to be reloaded (and the settings reset) there is a window that could be used.

    Plus what happens if DNT is set to ON does the previous data need to be erased??

    and this can be bypassed rather easily by

    1 grab an update set using WSUSOFFLINE

    2 use that media to do your updates

    3 and an undisclosed number of OTHER computers

    4 rinse and repeat as needed

    actually yes i do which is why any professional gets waivers/arranges payment in these types of cases.

    the thing is tech should always be "polite" when it has capabilities to this level.

    I have no problems with a sat shot of my house every 9 months or so.

    what i have a problem with is somebody filming my house 24/7/52

    photo showing that my backyard has a pool = not a problem
    film of my 5 year old daughter swimming in said pool = BIG PROBLEM

    so your rights to film my property end at the point where my rights to forcefully defend said property.

    (aka i need to be able to file an OPT OUT with you)

    1 if you register %base%.com then you automatically get a "soft register" for .net and .org (and the same for every combo thereof with any adjustments needed for nonUS entities). If later on somebody wants a domain that is soft registered they can If they also setup someway to redirect traffic to the other(s) in the set.

    2 When you create some sort of entity (business or social) if your entity name is NOT already registered then you get priority for that domain AND IF IT IS REGISTERED YOU CAN BUY THE DOMAIN AT THE REGISTRARS COST.

    3 anyone found registering "spoof" domains or otherwise trying to do a domain attack should be banned from registering any domains (and lose any domains they currently have).

    err you do realize that these folks have access to clueby 4-6-8's and are willing to use them on folks being snarky??

    the goal is to migrate the list over without requiring all the members to go through a 14 step process (of which 4 are undocumented 2 have the steps in the wrong order and 3steps are always documented WRONG).

    i would see who has which service (of yahoo google or something else) and then use that to decide which way to go.

    if you have (or could get) a Hosted Domain most decent providers can setup list software directly on your domain host.

    not staff but i have spoken to a staff member but i think they do not want to use the Nuclear Option because they don't want some company or federal TLA to require them to do so in the future.

    I think somebody has used CleanMyPC to infect a bot swarm that seems to be attacking this site for some reason. (they are jumping both ips and accounts)

    lets grid this out you have Trait A = RR and Trait B =TS the problem is that RR seems to be dominate and TS is recessive so

    Both Plants not MGM = Not A Not B
    One Plant MGM One Plant not = A Not B (this what gets a farmer sued)
    Both Plants MGM = A Maybe B (also would get a farmer sued for not buying the next years crop if Not B and planted)

    personally i think that Monasoto should have to pay not only the royalties back but pay interest on the funds at the highest available rate.

    the "Fire Somebody" response is used when said somebody is not only not doing the job they are being paid for but blocking anybody else from doing the job correctly.

    so in your cases

    was a directive passed down to ensure a useable bug tracker?? (then if its not easy to use maybe somebody is being bribed to force "solution" and needs to be replaced with the tracker)

    This depends on WHY Windows is crashing.

    I would think that whoever was responsible for the fuel supply needs to be fired but if the whole IT dept was stealing it and thats why its short then...

    Investigate Then Fire AS NEEDED

    which means that somebody needs to be fired.

    1 cheap food can be healthy (unless somebody gets bribed)
    2 needed equipment should always be on hand
    3 then somebodies time management is BAD (or the allocation is off)

    2 require 24 hours between the presentation and any voting action (with a clause for Clear and Present Physical Danger to allow for stuff like funding for rapid bridge repair when one has almost collapsed)

    3 a full history of any changes to the text should be made Public (SVN type thing)

    besides as far as resources go we are always finding new ways to either recycle what we have or tap new sources/methods.

    okay all it would take is a couple court orders
    1 to Slashdot to find out which IP your post came from

    then after a WhoIs to find an ISP

    2 to your ISP to ask who had the lease on that IP at the time of the posting

    the rest is just a warrant and search

    physical abuse of the kids
    Drugging the kids
    selling people
