They should have plenty of RAM, because the model would be huge. This is because they are working with nanostuff. If they want to make something visible (and util) for human beings, they would use many RAM (and CPU time for rendering:).
Where are the packages?
Did you know that the potato packages of kde 2.0 came with a QT package with a different version of the QT version used to compile the other kde 2.0 packages?
Result: Uninstallable.

Every Linux distro has GNU software. It's not the name of a Debian product. It's how Linux distros should be called: [distro_name] GNU/Linux.
Hurd will finally make the GNU more visible. People will no more call the GNU/Linux system only as Linux. And it will put GNU in more evidence.
By the way, Debian rules!
I and some friends had Creative Labs 52x CD-ROM drives. It always stops working after a few months.
Now i got another one. It still works, but only sometimes:)
Today's CD-ROM drives may not be able to read it. The floppy CD should be at a plastic protection (like de 5 1/4 floppy disk). And for that, you will need a different CD-ROM drive.
No big deal on buying a new one, since today's CD-ROM drives just work for a few months anyway.
Gnome ported to windows... Gnome orbit into Linux kernel... What's next? Gnome takes over the world?
If they do their distro, it would probably be based on Debian (6000 packages), have a windows emulator and make Linux accept windows drivers.
:)
Hm... I still prefer Debian
I see a gnome through those windows... The windows broke, and the gnome now runs free...
Does it take a long time to render?? :)

7 digits -> 10 to the power of 7 = 10,000,000 users.
10 digits -> 10 to the power of 10 = 10,000,000,000.
Do they expect to have 10 bilion users in the future?

The exact same feelling of being lost happens when a Windows user switch to other desktop environment. At least, in this case, it's worth it :)
Anti-aliasing and blending could be done using a 3D video card (such as Voodoo or GeoForce) with a X 4.01 DRI driver.
Was it ever tried?

It could help understand how exactly gravity affects the center of a moon (or planet).
Would anything in the center of it break (as it is pulled from all it sides)?
Couldn't it be a moon of a planet that left it's orbit?

Good. More people to "work" on Debian :) (Even if temporaly).
Why did they blast a cassino to Saturn?
:)
Is it profitable?
Just kidding
BTW, nice pictures!
