Pretty much a clone of Keyring for PalmOS. I don't yet have support for categories, but it does have the ability to backup to an off-phone location over-the-air. It's GPLv3, and uses Blowfish encryption.
I've released an open source password management app for webOS (http://www.precentral.net/homebrew-apps/keyring), and a rep from Palm contacted me to offer help in getting my app into the catalog. They have no issues with open source, and no problem with the code being available elsewhere. The problem here is that jwz got his panties in a twist, and he needs to take a few deep breaths.
So yeah, if I was made of money, I'd still be coding.
All my life I've enjoyed building things: blocks and legos as a child, chemistry in college, jewelry as a hobby in my 20's, wrenching on my car or my bicycles. When I got into programming in my early 30's it was the best thing that happened to me. Now I get *paid* to build things. I wouldn't want to give up something so satisfying just because I didn't need the money.
I wonder how many AJAX apps have "injection" problems? If developers aren't properly validating the inputs from xmlhttprequest on the server side there's potential for mischief.
My work machine has 14 windows, including two firefox windows with a total of 26 tabs. That's spread across two virtual desktops on a dual-head machine with two 1280x1024 monitors, running Gentoo. My other work machine is a single-head setup, and I've got four virtual desktops, and about the same number of windows.
On my home system (also Gentoo with the same dual-head setup), I've currently got ten windows and a measly 7 firefox tabs (usually there's another two ff windows each with a dozen or so tabs).
i recently spent almost an hour trying to find a sample of JOVIAL code. nothing doing. some large fraction of the USAF air traffic software is written in JOVIAL, but i'll be damned if i can lay eyes on an example.
in case yer wondering, JOVIAL is a 1960's derivative of ALGOL. a friend tells me that it has no I/O commands -- you had to write your I/O in whatever low-level language the hardware supported.
check out world wraps on california avenue in palo alto. despite the name, it's a great middle-eastern joint, run by some nice folks from jordan (iirc). the food is really good, and the guys behind the counter a quite friendly.
ya know, it would have been cleaner if you provided a way for us to tell you about gyro places *besides* posting a totally offtopic comment...
If you've got a Palm Pre (or are going to get a Pixi), try Keyring for webOS:
