Actually, iTunes is a good reason for not getting another iPhone. It was enough incentive for me to switch. Now I'm free and I can actually connect my device to any computer with USB capability without the need for the bulky iTunes installation.
Talking about tens of thousands for SMB and hundreds of thousands to millions with enterprises.
As for the graphic card, if you were to buy 1000 graphics cards, you would buy the top notch card because employee lost time outweighs cost of electronic hardware almost every time.
I've been surrounded my whole life by people who said you can't do this, you can't do that, you won't succeed... Guess what? I'm much further ahead than any of those people. I started programming at the age 15 and there's a huge advantage in ANYTHING if you start at a younger age because you brain is a sponge BUT, efforts can allow one to compensate for the slower brain absorption rate.
If you work hard enough, you will outperform some programmers who started younger because they take their skillset for granted and stop progressing.
Reading your post I understand you've been doing this for over a year and have learned a few languages. Keep in mind that languages don't make the programmer, it's the ability to structure programs that tells how experienced a programmer really. I'm sure the structure of you programs will continue to improve as you continue to learn.
It's not just a proposal, it's here. In old age houses they use online systems the government can access to make sure they are recording medication and care given to patients.
Who you comparing to? Linux? I'm still waiting for a ton of drivers to come out for some of the recent Linux distros. Does that mean Linux 3.9's release should have been put on hold?
I think you're just trying to twist words and meaning of what he's saying.
Encryption prevents 99% of people from stealing data the same way DRM prevents 99% of people from accessing piracy. If you didn't buy BF3, then you didn't get to play BF3 online. And if you did, your experience was CRAPPY to say the least. I would say that DRM accomplished exactly what they meant it to in the case of games.
Encryption has nothing to do with DRM other than it can be used as part of securing DRM. BigBy's comments are fine and accurate in my opinion. DRM stands for content you don't control. If you don't control it you can't easily transfer it or copy it.
Anyhow, didn't you guys know the nerdy is the new kool!
Need or no need, my wife colors here hair 5 times a month. Does she need to? NO. Is it tangible? NO. Does it serve a purpose? Yes, it makes me poor and keeps the marketing firms running.
That is because the immediate and long term repercussions are obviously not harsh enough.
Incarceration should be as follow: - Forced daily labor - Poor quality food from a taste standpoint, with healthy nutrition - Daily education but not a full fledge college type education, just what they need so they can go back into society when they are to do so. - Daily review of world events and news so they don't lose track of the real world - No days off, everyday should be a work day in prison
The idea of incarceration is that it should be incentive for not wanting to go in or wanting to come back. It should be more appealing to work a minimum salary job with average conditions than being stuck in prison. I don't believe our current system does this for people stuck in the lower bracket of our society.
You are correct. We are stuck with it unless we shop at stores that don't offer the rewards. When it comes to computer gear or car parts, I have places I can buy stuff for 5-10% less but they won't take the CC. They remove the discount if I do. I know they aren't suppose to but I don't care and I won't report them for saving me money.
Most people don't realize that they pay 4% to get the 3% cash back reward. Makes me giggle inside:)
Come on. I carry 7 bags in each hand. Grow some muscle:)
On a serious note, I see lots of people borrow carts from the grocery store. They actually talk to the owner or manager and they OK it. That way they can actually keep the cart at home until their next grocery. Not sure all grocery stores are this flexible but no harm asking.
Actually you should care more than you want to. These bonuses and rewards are paid for by the merchant BUT guess who is paying the merchant for the rewards? You are! Nothing is free. Most Merchants inflate their prices to cover for these expenses. In the end all you are doing is keeping a marketing infrastructure alive by paying for it. Sure you get air miles or reward dollars but I assure you that you paid more than if you actually used your own money. It's a GIMICK and we are all fooled by it.
In Canada the Z10 is fairly popular. For some reason there's a following and they love their BB. More than half the people in my surroundings that have had to replace their phone opted for a Z10.
I almost spit my coffee laughing when I read the bit about MS. You are so right. When I asked to see the Samsung Ativ (windows 8 phone) at a very busy mobile store, the staff looked at me flabbergasted. I basically purchased the first Samsung Ativ at that location. This was in January. Just tells you nobody knows about them or is interested in them. Too bad all their previous phones were crap. This one is definitely an improvement.
It's because of this lack of wanting to coexist and agree to one path that MS managed to get a much stronger foothold in the PC market than Linux. Linux has many things going for it but it's community can't agree on a common way of doing. Linux fanatics are the reason Linux was never able to get above water in the consumer market. It took a holder of big money (GOOGLE) to set course and build a Linux distro that would work flawlessly on mobile devices. In Android, the Linux community has no say and it lives with it the same way the MS community lives with Windows.
Obviously. The point was you don't spare an expense on hardware that makes employees more productive.
Or Linux

What if they don't want to share their cut of the bribe with the IT people?
Exactly,

'They'll take what we give them'
I though that was Apples spoon feeding attitude of 'Customer don't know what they want but we do'
That's why the calendar app still doesn't have a snooze feature.
Guess you don't use the shortcuts. Must take you a long time to format your documents.

You're trolling at this point. You clearly are inexperienced with end user grade H/W.
Yes, but they don't operate at those temperatures. If you were to operate them in those conditions they wouldn't be any good for long.
Vibration is less of a concern than it used to be because of SSD. I don't know how resilient SSDs are to hot/cold.
If DRM is that bad, it should be considered an opportunity to compete by providing an equivalent offering DRM Free.
So stop complaining and get to work. There's money to be made.

My 2 unfounded cent!!
Your lucky. I spend $430 on gas per month to travel to work. That's $258 yearly. Worth it for me.

I'm less mature than my 8 year old and I wouldn't write a letter like that.

My 2cents on this rambling!
