A physical wall is not required. Trump's wall is simple. The US company offshoring jobs is going to pay the highest taxes on importing their goods. It needs to be punitive. Of course they can't compete with foreign companies by keeping jobs in the US. That is by progressive design. The bucket that was kicked down the road is now filled with C4.

Assault rifle? WTH is an assault rifle? All weapons are for assault. You are doing nothing but targeting what the media tells you to. What if someone went in there with a single shot, breach barrel 22 rifle? I Know that I can get at least 50 rounds off in less than 4 minutes and I am slow. Guns are all or nothing legislation. The sad part is that people are arguing about guns in this topic. This has nothing to do with guns.

I generally agree with you. An intelligent person is capable of working with the open source software and getting the results they want. I think that all people are capable of it, but the masses (all others) just want to be able to get a quick response from a search engine for whatever problem they are encountering. It is a lot easier to ask the other millions of people that pirated Photoshop how to do a specific task than to search through random posts of people using The Gimp that may have had the same need. I remember growing up in the late 70s-early 80s and having to figure out how to make my SoundBlaster work for Kings Quest (or whatever game I was playing at the time). You had to read a manual to get stuff done. You understood(hopefully) what you were doing before you just started changing configurations. Its funny... My inlaws believe that their grand kids are the most gifted people on the planet because they are using electronic devices at such a young age. I find it next to impossible to explain to them that they are nothing more than consumers of technology. The number of truly gifted people are dwindling to new lows.
