We pissed and moaned and we still do and what do we do? nothing. using adblock isn't enough, they're always going to find new ways of forcing their ads on us, and there are sites that are starting to block the viewer if they detect adblockers.
People shat bricks when they tried that back in the late 00s so how come nobody's giving a crap now?

What if google just pulls out of the EU completely? Force EU citizens to use either the US or another country's international version of google? Would they still need to apply to those crackpot rules?
Actually it's Bill 101 that is the cause of all this.
Basically, Bill 101: french must be everywhere and people who don't speak french aren't people.
