The GPL is here only to keep free software and to prevent people to steal and pillage the free sw comminity of their work!
The idea is: If you would like to use free sw in your projects it would be free sw too.
.. filtering porn sites is just what they should do! Read the Gospel... Porn is just an insult to women and mankind in general. If one does not want filtering he has only to go to another ISP.

But KDE IS GPL software....... I'm not sure but it's released under General Public Licence. -> hence Free Software in the mean RMS says... (well it truly become true only when Troll changed Qt licence)
