Recently I've read books about the Rwandan genocide and one recurrent theme was just how long ago the seeds for the genocide of 94 were, perhaps inadvertently, sown. Looking around the world today, what seeds do you see being sown now which may lead to devastating, but hopefully avoidable, conflicts and massacres in the decades to come?
Self-employed businessman Ahmed Nasar said he was worried the video could lead to violence in Britain in the same way as it had abroad. "If you push people too far," he said, "You will turn the peaceful elements into violence."

There may be quite a number of people who have had items stolen from rooms "secured" by these locks now wondering what really happened. I also wonder whether there are any fired hotel staff who have been wronged in this. As Brocious points out, the hack is rather trivial and he's unlikely to have been the first/only person to have figured it out.

What's to stop a nasty person with this keyhack from waiting until you're out, and then accessing your room to steal stuff
or waiting for you to come back...
