Teenage boys may be the ones who act disrespectfully now. The point I was making is that in the future, if we all must be nice with our real names, those same pre-pubescent boys simply won't post anything at all and the Internets will be full of teenage girls talking about puppies and sparlkes. In otherwords, a muted form of reality not unlike a Disney movie. The real world isn't like that. I'm sure there are many examples of people attempting to create utopian societies and failing miserably.
Ongoing list of things I don't use:
1. Facebook
2. Spell Check
If I were to ever sign up for a Facebook account again, it would only be if Facebook paid me money to do it. They profit off the ads I'm shown and the information I share. Since that information about me has real marketable value, I feel entitled to a portion of it. So if you aren't paying me, GET OFF MY LAWN!
I just deleted my Google+ account because my real name popped up on a really bad review I wrote about a gun shop owned by tea-party types. Those are the last people on the planet I'd want knowing who I am in real life. Forcing people to use their real names is a sure way to fill the internet with mindless posts by teenage girls.
As near as I can recall, there aren't any universities that offer a degree in problem solving skills. Technical support these days is a skilled trade and I'd question the real-world abilities of a college graduate answering tier 1 phones for IBM. If I were to go get a degree in anything, it would be something that interests me rather than something I already make a good living doing.
You just insulted every rational, free thinking individual. HANDCUFFS!!!!
