Dude, have a chuckle. Can you imagine weaponized iPhones with bayonets sticking out the top? For personal defense only, of course. Probably cut down on iphone muggings!
The moment I read it would place ads by scanning my email contents I swore to stay away. Never touched it. Tho is is why I always had a mac.com address, even though it was $99/yr. At least I knew how much I was paying. And don't fool yourself, whether a service is paid or ad-supported, you pay either way.
The only sad part is that google is still indexing all the mail that I send to a gmail address, and adding that to a dossier about me.
The tv comedy 30rock always had apple products. You see their name in the credits, promotional consideration provided by Apple. See imdb for a listing of show credits
The rest of the world only thinks Americans are evil and corrupt because of the myth that the US government and US corporations are representing the will of the American people and operating on their behalf.
pish, the world doesn't think americans are corrupt. they love us because of hollywood.
to clarify on my comment (gp) and yours, when we say "we're all screwed" I specifically mean me and you and our current generation. presumably if all goes well our children's children's children would be good, but eff them I'm worried about me. there's nothing I can do to keep this plague from afflicting me.
we're all effed. even if we do an aggressive CO2 reduction in emissions, we won't get emissions down to sustainable levels by 2050. Then, it will take decades for the CO2 air concentration to reach sustainable levels. and this assumes we don't get an explosion in emissions from developing countries.
So we have 80 years of unmitigated climate change ahead of us. pretty much everybody reading this will die before there's a possibility of things improving. sorry to be a debbie downer, but these are no longer dire warnings of what might happen unless we take action, they're explanations of what will happen due to past inaction. hide yo wife, hide yo kids, hide yo husbands, cuz things are gonna start changing.
+1 insightful. What would you think of siri as a watch input? Not unwieldy like text. But you could give instructions or send messages with it. Assume ideal siri, rather than criticizing current flaws.
Dude, replicant doesn't matter. Any software solution to privacy has been pwned by NSA et al. Anything you can do is block the cameras cut the cable to the microphones.
i covered the camera on my laptop and cell phone with black static cling. its easy to nudge if I want a photo and otherwise helps me out. not sure yet what to do about the microphone.
I agree with you. But I still disagree with the person who said that apple never does that.

When apple wins a patent for "bayonet attachment mechanisms", why would you assume it would be used for camera lenses?

Agreed, there's no free tv in the us anymore (beyond the two a dozen free OTA HD channels, including all major networks).
No the prank is beta. Jk, jk, it's not that bad.
yeah didn't they do that last year? but at least now they have audio to read the page to you...
Agreed, there are examples on both sides, but the guy above claiming that apple never does product placement, I believe is false.

You're welcome!
I do not believe that. you see it on tv show credits, "promotional consideration provided by apple"

I laughed.
Not that much easier, to the point where I'd rather just get out my phone than have to deal with watches and sleeves ever again.
Dude, you gotta chillax. You're really tightly wound if you're reacting to sleeves like that.
Term is "rice rocket"
It seems that goog and fb have plenty of money to waste...

Two billion of them, to be exact.

what is replicant

wtf is dup? did you mean derp?
it's more efficient, in that you can churn out the same amount of bad code in fewer man-hours.
yes, this is what the summary says about how past advancements have boosted efficiency instead of enabling better programming.
