from my knowledge, water created this way - ie condensation isn't yet ionised an doesn't have the ability to conduct electricity.
if many of you know the celeron [tm somewhere], the ppga grid is visible from the top of the chip and I myself have had water covering every pin and moving it's way down the board just to test this very idea of water damage. [peltiers - not NO2] = P
fyi no damage was incurred and I was damn suprised.
people meet people, however it is done doesn't matter. if someone doesn't want your business or wants to make you feel unwelcome to pay to use their service when it is useful. there are a number of other auction sites who probably don't mind what you do outside of browsing their website.
I've purchased many TNT/TNT2 based cards for my machines at home and have influenced a large number of people to do the same. I'd even purchased more recently due to the upcoming release of XFree86 4.0
I would consider myself a very loyal nVidia user and being in Australia, we pay more for it too.
With nVidia supplying a chipset to M$ X-Box, it doesn't suprise me that they want to shaft the XFree 86 dev team, maybe M$ ha$ a little bit more intere$t in nVidia'$ chip$et($).
with the need for some more hammer and push on 3D cards, people will be upgrading. ALL of the people who I know and hear my ranting will not be buying nVidia's product. Based on them not giving a shit about the entity that keeps them going, the customer.
nVidia has the chance to do the right thing. maybe conforming to the DRI spec and just using a low level driver for DMA routines.
work visa's can be costly. can't work in australia unless you have one.
I'm not sure when it comes to holidays if you are allowed to work at all.. if so.. it would more than likely be limited to 28 hours a week (usually for international students)
there is demand for this sort of thing in Australia, (in almost every city)
Eastern states would probably be easier to get work because there would be more of it there.. but WA is probably one of the better spots to lax out and enjoy - guess it depends on what your looking for:)
either way.. some people in this country still like the idea of handing over cach and not telling the taxman.
all we need is all the techheads to migrate here and we'll have a force to take over and give this country the wiring it needs. think of all the converts we could make ! it would be absolute purity - an island of beer guzzling techies. Slastralia - no blue screens here:)
It's always fun to concentrate on what Linux can do really well and employ that with absolute no nonsense sweetness. but -
My views on this is that the more discussion on what Linux CAN NOT DO is very important. All it will do is open the door for more support, more efficiency and more enjoyment for those that choose to use it. Maybe some pages should/could/or already are setup to note - -supported/unsupported hardwares. -what Linux can/can't do and it's efficiency on that note.
I'm sure a central area like this could be of nothing but benefit for the ever so funky LinuxOS and the people that develop and use it.
if there is already something like this, slap me if you please and then leave a URL.

I _used_ to use ebay a lot.
the X-Box will be using nVidia.

when you screw your customer, you screw yourself.

I can listen to mostly anything. usually one of the electronic varients with Drum n Bass / Trance getting top scores.
one thing that I need though, is NO lyrics, or at least not all the time. it seems to get my concentration and 'coding to the beat' cranking nicely.
either way, the music is gooode'

drugs would fit into the 'fips' category. :P
but remember with fips things still can go wrong
