Sardine cans have had the same shape as an iPhone, for decades. I think Beach Cliff should sue Apple.

People need to stop throwing the word "innovate" around when they don't understand the confines of innovation within a certain market. There's nothing left for a phone to do. There is literally no more innovation that can be made with a mobile phone. The next step is a cochlear implant that interfaces with your brain, or smart glasses, to store your data and display webpages. Further innovation is unnecessary. We also need to stop trying to follow Moore's Law as if it applies in some sort of qualitative way because it doesn't nor has it ever.

Microsoft didn't try to force us to buy Microsoft. We still had the choice to use Linux or Apple or Unix or do what we want. They didn't force us to use microsoft phones, microsoft pdas, microsoft xbox, or internet explorer, or office. Microsoft has always allowed alternatives - to what extent they are viable is another argument but nothing they have done has ever hurt the end user.

At least you had the willpower to see the truth, which is more than you can say for most appletards. They are nothing but corporate bully whores with no creativity and no vision and a legion of misguidedly but fervently devoted followers.

Samsung and many other companies did what Apple did long before Apple even filed for a patent. Anyone who actually pays attention to the electronics industry and/or can do research knows this. Every single feature of the iPhone existed years ahead of the iphone in different devices and several companies have legitimate grounds in an argument against them. Their lawsuit, if I'm not mistaken, stems from a time before Apple even got their patent. Samsung isn't going to come back and destroy them, unfortunately, because no company has Apple's ill-deserved ability to gain followers as if they were the Ori - so Samsung is by no means as popular or fervently defended as Apple.

Over half the states of Murca are allowed to use the death penalty - and it is reserved for extremely rare circumstances in homicide cases, like mass murderers and serial killers (same thing right). They can but it's extremely rare that they do when you look at how many actual court cases happen a year all over the place. I mean, the court is pretty much the king and you're the jester, whether you broke any law or not. You do what the hell they say unless the judge is a pothead and doesn't care, aka no such thing. Is it incredibly overbearing and inappropriate and should it be unconstitutional to order a person not accused of a real crime to delete their private property? Inarguably. I understand that there are criminals who kill people and steal shit and whatever - they don't deserve to be treated with respect. They deserve their American constitutional protections, those that apply to criminals and inmates, nothing more. But, for fake criminals - 1st or maybe 2nd time DUIs, disorderly conducts, people who forgot to make a bill payment, shit like that, it's absurd.

From the looks of it, the vast majority of users commenting on this article have never worked a day in IT in their life. Their comments are either completely ignorant or irrelevant. Of course businesses shouldn't change if they don't need. But these people are acting like NO company has any reason to upgrade from a crappy OS (XP). In my experience, and maybe that's my fault for only working for large successful companies, these companies would be boned if they relied on XP as heavily as commenters seem to think they should. I would shoot myself if I worked for a company where I had to use XP. I had to use XP in my first job out of college, as the LEAD of the IT department, and it screwed my productivity to no end. Especially when I had to VPN from my 7 computers, I more often than not did the work on my computer and then sent it to myself on my XP computer.

Those aren't business computers, those are assistant/receptionist machines. There's a huge difference between an actual business employee and a receptionist or assistant - many of those machines are indeed for checking email and random BSing because they are used by completely technically retarded people like life insurance agents who have not worked with a computer and do not need a computer.
