    you obviously dont live in a place with many choices. i mentioned large cities because they generally have more choices of internet providers. in houston, you can get similar speeds with 5 different companies, so comcast is forced to not cap data.

    but again, this depends entirely on the rate at which google fiber expands. literally as soon as fiber comes to a comcast city/town, it is game over because everyone will switch. i predict 20 years before the entire US is on fiber of some kind(at google fiber price e.g. ATT austin tx)

    i would disagree, i say it would be a good time to short their stock because comcast is going to start losing customers to google every time google rolls out a new fiber city

    depends on where you are. some of the smaller towns and cities have data caps, but in larger cities, like houston, comcast cant get away with it, so they dont actually have a cap.

    comcast is clearly on crack if they think the public will allow them to have a data cap on internet. Google is quickly rolling out gigabit internet for the price of comcast's 25mbit internet... and guess what? they DONT have a cap. comcast is screwed if they dont get their act in gear. the only reason theyve managed to get this far is that they have a deal with so many places so that they have a monopoly

    the only reason why MMO games DONT let players run their own servers is that they make no money from them. im sure blizzard wouldnt mind letting people have private servers as long as they still paid for the content and the subscription... but generally speaking, they are stealing.

    because class action lawsuits are supposedly much cheaper per person than one person... a one person lawsuit would just get totally overpowered by a corporation until he was destitute and couldnt afford to continue the lawsuit.

    everyone knows that the more ppl who play your game the more money it will make. i for one will very rarely buy a paid game that i know i will only play once or a couple of times. the vast majority of money that people get from free to play games is advertisement revenue(if it is popular), or cash shop from compulsive whales who spend money for no reason

    obviously you just like being obstinate... i didnt say well done is cooking at 155 degrees, i said well done is when the temperature of the meat is up to 155 degrees. this is basically leather

    it doesnt really matter how you cook a steak... if it is well done, it will be leather(well done is 155+ degrees) this is well above the temperature at which a steak is best served.

    yes, but when you can cut costs and not have any issues, a lot of places will do it. theres no point in spending 20$ on a prime steak if the person eating it cant tell the difference between a shoe and a steak.

    they dont update the virus signatures anymore, because ppl who use symantec antivirus dont have any clue wtf they are doing. it is kindof like going to a steak restaurant and ordering your steak well done. the restaurant has lower quality meat for those people because it is cheaper and they cant tell the difference.

    i actually had my speed and comprehension increase with one of these apps. im dyslexic, so when i read paragraphs i lose my place consistently and have to reread just to understand anything. i dont have the same issue if im only reading one word at a time

    google doesnt profit off hardware, or the things they sell... they profit off information. they will likely just make their money by selling your secrets which you intrust to your isp

    while it did some good this time, i can see this being totally abused in the following way: police cannot get a warrant to search someone or some place, so they ask a random bystander to call in a 911 tip anonymously... they then go in without a warrant (because they no longer need to)

    guns dont cause mass shootings... people who break the law do. guess what is in common with people who break the law in one way and people who break the law in another? they tend to break laws. making it illegal to own guns does just a little to them as making it illegal to kill people. we dont need to stop people from owning guns, we need to find better ways to stop mass shootings... even if that means putting in boxes of 'in case of terrorist, break glass'. as far as schools go, i think we should give teachers the ability to have handguns in locked safes in their classrooms, and allow them to take it out it the case of a shooting situation.(of course, they would need to be trained for it as well).
