Back in the day, integrated audio was the frickin' PC speaker that could only produce one square wave at a time with no volume control whatsoever, apart from software 'hacks'.
And Creative Labs were far from the first ones, learn a bit of history and get off my lawn.
Every time I see that term, I cringe. I've never heard anything 100% good from any of those guys, there's always some trickery or grey-area ethics involved.
I would love to see Atmel go with Intel, just to see what could come out of it.
I'd like to see the ATtiny and ATmega series running above 20MHz. Sure there's other Atmel uC that can do that, but in non-DIP packages and at a much higher price.
Unless they can magically add Dart capabilities to all the web-capable devices already out there as well as current and future competitors devices, the answer is no.
We don't need another "This website is best viewed in browser XYZ" era.
There's one thing my gaming PC doesn't have: an optical drive. I haven't needed one for the past three years.
Check out the Cooler Master Elite 110. If you know of something even smaller that would still fit a Zotac GTX 750, please tell me. I don't use 3.5" HDDs either.
