But does your tablet play Crysis 3? What about Metro: Last Light?

  2. Bug #1 on Ubuntu Closes Longstanding Bug #1 · · Score: 2

Personally, I don't think this bug is fixed yet. Desktop Linux still lingers around 1% market share, and while Android, OEM involvement and new AAA software titles, I think we still have a long way to go. Oh, well. Debian fanboy's 2 cents.

Wayland is going to be the best thing to happen Linux ever! This is what's going to make Steam games smooth, make graphical lags and glitches nonexistent, and set the stage for better graphics drivers from graphics card venders! I'm stoked! Can't wait for this to go mainstream!

I'm really liking Crunchbang lately! It's very fast, very stable, and it's based on Debian so it works pretty well with mainstream software. It also comes with non free repositories, and codecs.

Thank You. I was not aware of this. I thought they cut pre-releases all together. I'll try it our in VMware when I get the chance. :-)

If anything, I think Canonical's being a tad bit childish. They lock us out of alpha/beta test to develop in "secret", and are in the process of turning their OS into a shopping cart. What next?!? Close source the project? It's the very reason I'm typing this from my Kubuntu machine and loving it. :-)
