A teacher with a classroom full of kids that have parents that make little to no effort to be parents can only do so much. The simple truth is it is dumb to expect anyone to do more to educate your child or care more about your child than you do. This is not throwing up my hands at the problem but point out that the solution are the parents as is often the problem.
