People are still receiving similar treatment for their sexual preference in probably more than half of the (inhabited) world. They should drop some decent coin on an Alan Turing foundation (which probably already exists) and actually contribute to emancipation. What a farce.
In all fairness, it does sound a wee bit like the start of disaster sci-fi movie. An interesting one even. Some asteroids, massive amounts of greed, a cute alien race risking their life and limb for our increasingly idiotic and helpless humanity.
Ah well just a matter of time and will be just plain old 'puters flying planes. And we all no they never make mistakes, nor do the people who build them and write software for them.
As a European I'm not sure what to think of this. I was more shocked about the fact that so many people thought that an organisation like the NSA was able to do their work by reading public blogs and newspapers, than I was about the actual PRISM news.
Now it's just waiting for the next big terrorist attack which able to amass funds because of the EU no longer data sharing.

I would love to see the blog's writer spin it as 'culturalism'.
How can you culturally explain the 'Lucky it where no Korean deaths' gaffe?

This reminds me of religious zealots burning books, music and instruments since they might have been tools of Satan.
Poor whales
I do not approve of the way you portray hungry lions.

Who would ever want to interact with someone wearing one of these?
