which will put you into "easy" mode. From the vim help:
-y Easy mode. Implied for |evim| and |eview|. Starts with
'insertmode' set and behaves like a click-and-type editor.
This sources the script $VIMRUNTIME/evim.vim. Mappings are
set up to work like most click-and-type editors, see
|evim-keys|. The GUI is started when available.

A windows install will put an icon on the screen for this mode.
Umm... my kids are learning PowerPoint in elementary school as well as Word etc. I'm the bad guy because I've only put OpenOffice on their computer at home. Two can play at that brainwashing game!
I don't think that this is the case (the sterility) since one of the things that they were complaining about was the fact that he was replanting the the seed from past years. In fact this is one of the big complaints from people about these companies is that the contracts specifically forbid them from saving seed for the next year.
Personally, I like the section that says if he finds it growing on his land he's required to destroy it! If I were Monsanto I'd be tossing this stuff out all over the damn place and then just sitting around raking in the money. Umm... that was sarcasm.

Fucked over is relative. Compared to *no* job $10 a day working 12 hour shifts *is* better.
