Would I be right in assuming that adobe make some of the most pirated non-game software available?
This kind of behaviour almost seems designed to encourage piracy. Apple and many others do similar things to us poor aussies, and now that our dollar is stronger than it has been in a long time, it makes it all the more galling. The fact that there are companies set up purely to circumvent stupid policies like this surely is a sign of the stupidity of it; (read the forums on whirlpool.net.au re: use of mail forwarding services like myus + VPNs to circumvent such idiocy)
I have lots of sympathy for companies that lose money to piracy, but its hard to have too much sympathy when there are clear cases of price gouging like this.
