Intuitive does not exist. Everything on a computer is either a metaphor for something already learned, or a convention unique to computers that must be learned.
Those are people who change how they work to correspond to the ideology embodied by a technology, rather than use technology that already adopts the conventions with which they are familiar.

I finally figured it out! You have to tap the vertical margin or the make-believe stack of pages. Tapping anywhere near the center does nothing or goes in to text selection mode. It still does the page curl.
I can't seem to figure out a way to edit the URLs it chooses to go into the bookmarks. It would be nice to remove useless?session=parameters&stupid intra-page#anchors.

Has anyone figured out how to turn of that stupid page flip gesture and animation? I mean, it's cute and all for the first forty pages of Winnie the Pooh, but for fuck's sake, I just want to hit a button and see the the next page.

Do you know what iPods have now? Wireless and more space than a Nomad! Not only was he correct about the iPod, but his comment directed Apple on the course that ultimately led to the iPhone. You fanboys owe Rob Malda for everything.
The.NET VM is no less "hackish" than other languages targeted to Java. They both essentially follow the same model for their bytecode. If anything, the blatant Windows-isms make the CLR far more clunky.
Of course, the iPod was a flop until it supported USB and Windows. When Malda said it was lame it was lame. The iPhone has not overtaken BlackBerry or Nokia, and Android phones are currently outselling them. And iPhone didn't really explode in popularity until it could run real applications. Web apps were precisely the failure every Slashdotter claimed they would be.
I'd say its collective armchair technologist predictions have been fairly accurate.
Of course, I would also like to see evidence of credible people predicting Linux taking over the desktop. That seems so ridiculous as to be apocryphal.
Anyone who cannot cope with mathematics is not fully human. At best he is a tolerable subhuman who has learned to wear shoes, bathe and not make messes in the house.
Funny how people are spinning this as if telling the second most powerful government on Earth to go fuck itself is the desperate act of an injured victim.
I challenge you to find evidence that they were ever happy with the terms that allowed them to operate in China.
Christ, you are one submissive little cunt. You'd probably complain about the security footage being biased. It did, after all, substantiate Watts' original account.
Bullshit. You're giving attention and ad revenue to a political operative. As others have indicated, Slashdot could have linked to a "neutral" reproduction of the AP article.

What government are you talking about?
Scrabble, now for stupid people!
You should invest in SCO.

Gotta love this "intuitive" UI.

And help other people understand why they should't buy one either. Oh, wait, that's what he's doing, and you want him to stop.
> For instance the String class represents all strings using UCS2 internally - if that isn't bloat I don't know what is!
Because if 7-bit ASCII is good enough for America, it ought to be good enough for everybody!

There is a word for people who talk about what they "tried" to do: failure.
And seriously, can you even document that assertion? Either my google-fu is weak, or you're more delusional than the typical fanboy.
Predictions? The only prediction I've made is the end of Web 2.0 triumphalism. As a model for the future, the web app is dead.

Amazon is the reason they went DRM free. Remember that.
Eye contact making you uncomfortable is not a symptom of Asperger's, it is a symptom of insecurity.
So, which telecom company do you work for? This game is easy.

And now they can finally make good on that promise.
It's also going to piss them off because it makes voter ID laws no longer a filter against those who can't afford a car.

Are you sure? Have you tried it?
