I just think it's funny how ridiculous some people are about censorship. Did anyone see the filter list? I thought censorship was getting bad in the US. "FUCK" if I'm going to Australia.
I've got a PII 450 with DVD2 which uses hardware decoding instead of software decoding like DVD3. Currently running Win 98 which by the way sucks. Easiest OS to crash I have ever encountered. Havent tried it on Linux yet.

I'm not sayin go do drugs with your children. Just notice their intrests and accept what they are into. I'd go to a MM concert with my son if he asked me to. I'd buy tickets for him to go to a MM concert with a friend if I knew he was into them. I used to make firecrackers when I was younger. I'd empty out the powder from about 30-40 M-100's and put it all into one shell that I had emptied. Then put them in some sort of fruit and BLAMMM, No more fruit. Not even any remnants of whatever fruit it used to be. I did it all in fun and I never bought one of those M-100's and my parents knew what I was doing with them. All they ever told me was to be careful. Then complain about the craters in the back yard. I guess all I'm trying to say is you shouldn't take something away from a child if they are really into it. Let them go through the stage and get bored with it. If you take away something they really like and have fun doing it will just build the tension between parent and child. The child won't let you know how much it hurt them. They will just go out and do it behind your back and you won't have a clue. Accept their intrests and they will respect you and both of you will be better off in the long run.

The only thing the media has done with this whole thig is confuse me. I have no idea what is truth and what is fact anymore. I have heard so many different thigs about this case that I really no longer care to hear about it. For example: Right after it first happened there were 25 dead people. The next day there were 19 dead people. Finally today I hear there are 15 dead people. Which is right? The only thing media is good for is blowing things completely out of proportion and scaring the living hell out of all the parents in the nation. I know if I was 15 again and my parents told me to stop wearing black and to stop playing Doom I would get pissed and resent them more than I did anyway. I think what parents should do now is sit down at a computer and play a nice relaxing network game of Unreal with their children. Get involved in what they are into. Help them out, encourage them to be intrested in something no matter what it is. I've got a friend that just recently turned 17 and his main hobby is throwing knives. He's really fucking good at it too. His parents encourage him in this and actually buy knives for him. They don't go throwing with him or nothin but they have tried. I think this is a great thing and more parents should be this encouraging. That's all I have to say about the media and parents.
I don't see why they keep casting Keanu for these roles. He sucks as an actor period unless he is playing a braindead surfer boy. Which I doubt is not far from his real personality. Just look at how he fucked up Johnny Mnemonic. That could have been a fairly cool movie if not for Keanu. While I'm on the subject of shitty movies, has anyone else realized the decline of SERIOUS sci fi movies. Dune, 2001, Star Wars, and Blade Runner are all great sci fi movies. Actually all four rank in my top ten favorite movies of all time. Anyway, I will probably go and see this movie because I tend to have an open mind but doubt that it will compare to any of the forementioned movies solely based on the fact that I don't think it will show the seriousness and drama needed to make it a truly great movie. It'll probably just be another brain candy action flick.
