Also according to the article it seems there is some kind of basic image recognition software so that it can identify difference type of targets (eg sedan vs tuck).
I think that's just giving readers the idea of the detail level of the camera, not saying that the plane's systems can actually recognize either one.
I have over 500K of bookmarks, and it grows by a few bookmarks every day. While I don't know if this is a "record" number of bookmarks for an individual, I can surely tell you it is an insane number.
The $1000 figures are what it will cost the company, not the customer (I think the business term is acquisition cost, or something like that). I don't think they'd have much business if they expected consumers to pay that kind of money.

Check out the Bush Furniture MM80302 Jagger. I've never used one (or seen one in person), but a few months ago, I decided to draw a sketch of what my ideal desk would look like. About a week after that, I saw the Jagger in a Best Buy newspaper flier and was amazed at how similar it was to my sketch. It doesn't have the integration you're looking for, but it has lots of work space, and intelligently-designed mini-tower/printer/scanner/feet areas.
The Bush MM80302 looks good. It has a nice footrest, plus the space for the tower is open, which allows good ventilation. I actually sketched my "perfect desk" a couple months ago, and it was almost identical to this one, which I saw in a Best Buy flyer a week later.
cduniverse.com actually includes these numbers in their album detail pages. Sometimes they're incomplete, but you could just look the album up on that site before you sign up for something so you know the password you use matches their listing.
I downloaded the demo a few months ago. It auto-detected all of my hardware (all I had to tell it was keyboard layout). I connected to my ISP on my first try and started using its HTML 3.2-compliant browser. Then I decided to see how much it could handle. I opened about 5 browser windows and 5 3D QNX logo windows and didn't notice any slowdown.
