I do not know about historical usage, but current usage as defined by A Writer's Reference 3rd Ed. by Diana Hacker says on page 338 that all of those are singular, possessive pronouns and does not mention possessive adjectives at all.
Anyway, I did not mean to correct something that you already knew. I noticed my mistake after I posted and hoped that you would ignore my post. I did not mean to start anything. My apologies.
Actually, all the US Supreme Court has done is remove the Florida Supreme Court ruling and asked the Florida Supreme Court to clarify if the Florida Supreme Court made their ruling based upon permissable (Florida legislative) or not permissable (Florida constitutional) basis.
This is not a problem if you restrict physical access to a machine. You can also have the box only boot to the HDD and install something like PC Bodyguard to protect the BIOS.

I was playing a couple of lan games on my P166 pre MMX and Voodoo1. Sure I had to turn off a couple of the options, but it ran smoothly. Congrats to id on that.

His, her, and its are possessive pronouns. They do not use apostrophes.
