China has and will undergo many changes. Just recently (relatively) there was a communist revolution. The next revolution could tear China apart. I'll be the first to admit that I know next to nothing about China's history, but right now it seems like your government is trying to turn the entire populace into slaves. Freedom or slavery, pick one.
Yes, our government has it's low points, so does every government. But at least we move to fix our problems. 4,000 years later, and you're still killing your students. And we aren't the ones calling you sub-humans. It's those people who say, "They aren't good enough to have access to the same information the rest of the world has access to."
And sorry if we come across like the fathers of the planet, but when you're dragged out of isolationism (who's biggest proponent was Ben Franklin) to help save the [free] world, twice no less, it tends to do things to the national mentality.
And you have not had a continuouse government for the last 4000 years. The fact that China is now a republic and not a dynasty/monarchy as it was before Europle learned how to trade that far away, is, I think, more changes are in store for you. The problem with 4000 years is that it's alot more to learn.
And we're not throwing stones(missles). We're trying to help.
