Oh please, when is the last time ou got the Blue Screen of Death? I got it about 20 times last night while trying to do word. I can't use the Bourne Again Shell without cygwin:. I certainly can't use the excellent WM IceWM, where as now I'm stuck with crashed proned Explorer.exe. I love console tools such as playcd and mkisofs. The only tools I can find on Windows, except for those on Cygwin, are Drag and Pray. I certainly don't want to use MS Word or Internet Explorer on Linux because, unfortunately, these are inferior products that were once rip-offs to compete with superior products to get into the market. The only thing I want from windows is the games. I get sick and tired of getting the blue screen of death every 20 minutes when the only thing I'm trying to do is same the game or go to the main menu. Penguns Unite.

Its really not that hard. All you need is to write an assembly or a low-level C program that gives direct access to individual bits and sectors of the hdd and change all the bits to 0 xor 1. I wrote one a while back and it really didn't take me very long to do so. This is really easy to do in from a boot disk in LINUX.
I remember when I got my first computer... sometime in the 80's. It ran MS-DOS 3.10. Their was really no other choice in operating systems at the time so I was stuck paying the Microsoft tax of $50 or something like that so that my computer would do more then just beep. My next computers were a little better with DOS 5.0, DOS 6.22 with Windows 3.11, and DOS 7.10. Each time, I was forced to pay $50+ dollars for each new computer so that I would have the "latest and greatest" microsoft product. Their was really no choice in the matter, most consumers use what comes with their computers. I've owned several computers since then, continuing up until my last computer, which I built myself, and each time I payed the Microsoft Tax. I discovered Linux '98 and only payed $5 for it on something like linuxmall.com, and again $40 for a version of Mandrake. Amazing enough, this is less then I originally paid for DOS 3.10 in 198X. With respect to inflation in a non-monopolistic environment, a $50 product 15 years ago at 5% would approximately be $103 yet I'm paying much less for an equivalent product. Tell me this hasn't harmed consumers.
I am a junior in Computer Engineering at WVU. Computer Engineering is computer science plus electrical engineering. Unless your really good at electricity and feel like taking two years of calculus and advanced physics, become a Computer scientist. If your in it for the money, go to computer engineering. Don't forget to bring a big stick to kick the **** out of the ****ing ***hole professors that you'll meet.
If this meteor does contain a martian micro organism of some kind, you would think that their would be some DNA-like structure still embedded in the rock somewhere. If magnetotites can survive the martian climate for 3 billion years, surely DNA could.
It's not fair, just because I'm not from CA, does not mean I should be penalized. They should send prototypes to testers nation wide. Not every gamer lives in the Puget/Seattle area.
Innocent before Guilt. Let them do the research first and if someone can prove that they were doing "research" in the wrong place, then they should be courted and then, if found guilty, fired. As long as they are doing legitimate research, their should be no problem. This should not only be a special case for implication of porn for porn but a general case for all goofing off.
How is the Chinesse censorship of the internet so different then that of the lack of seperation of Church and state in the US? They both aim to control the people and don't take in consideration of what the general population wants.
If you think that their is separation of Church and State in the US, just look at a penny to find your answer.

First of all, First edition of Windows 95 was DOS 7.0. Somewhere in one of the sub-releases of Win95, it became DOS 7.10.
I don't see thousands of little alien space ships flying around everywhere, better not go here.

I have my Gene Expression Mark-up Language, my HTML, and XML. I can express any form of text in the world. I can not die happy.
I'm not going to spend a hundred bucks on a book for things I already know how to do. It is bad enough I already have to do this in college.
Now we don't need better bananas to slip on the floor.
A 7.5 on gamespot is like 2/1000 on the gamers scale. If it doesn't atleast get an 8, its junk.
