The Onkyo is great... even its littler brothers...but I really think you want at least $1k for speaker budget... Bose is slick engineering, but a little too slick for me. Not really big enough to match up to the sub, not even the one Bose makes and especially they won't play down to the frequency that your Great Onkyo receiver would like (probably 80 hz.) Except for hiding them, bigger satellites are better if well designed.... check out EDGEAUDIO.COM for ones big enough, priced low, real wood looks, and unique (well regarded) approach to sound quality. They are using some great drivers without charging high prices too!
