Lazy parents? Children bear witness to all the same horrors that adults must endure.. They just haven't had as long to worry over it and get really bitter about it.. Don't try to hide the truth from them.. try to remember what it meant to you when an adult treated you as an equal and not some half-baked homoculous that might one day be worthy of listening to..

What is the deal with all you negative, 'we must exclude content from viewers' thought-police kind of people.. I don't want to take away your right to control your informational environment -- for yourself and those whom you hold legal control over: but give ME a break! You want it both ways.. You want regual broadcast media to stick to certain censor rules and then at the same time you want some built in technological answer for your editing/blocking needs -- that every consumer ends up footing the bill for without giving anything back.. why is it always take! take! take! If you are going to bother putting in a mechanism in every reciever to read a signal or data that will have to be embedded in the data stream anyway, why not try to sell it to everybody by adding a feature so that I can turn off all the censoring as well as turn it on! I want you to have the ability to canel out all those dirty word/thoughts, but never, ever want to hear a blurred or chopped audio track on MTV2 just because there might be kids watching somewhere on the planet..
I'm sorry if this world scares you, but it's the same one I found when I got here.. and so far the beauty and the light that I have found has already made the trip worthwhile..
Ever have a hard time finding the actual *bill* in your credit card bill for all the extra ad inserts or maybe you had to tear an ad off the return envelope before you could even use it?
I like to tear up all that extra crap and stuff it in the envelope with the payment! Of course, none of them have stopped.. it just makes me feel better.
