    To be brodcast #1 it costs money. #2 brodcast media is controlled by the FCC (I was giving an example of how speech/expression are limited all the time). No one stops free speech they can stand on the corner and hold their signs all day long (which is what happens). You however are generally prohibited from doing it within a certain distance of a polling site and via brodcast media for obvious reasons.

    Money is not speech. I guess you're for shouting fire in a theater since that is infringing on your rights.

    Why is it Republicans always want a smaller government until someone does something they don't like. The "outrage" over Janet Jackson's boob has everyone in a fit, however why can the government stop her "freedom of expression"? Same concept, different view on your part I'd imagine.

    Republicans are hypocrites, every last one of them.

I disagree with their tactics, but in today's society I understand their futility in playing in a system where Bush has $120 Million already in campaign funds and they want what's right.

    Follow the money and you'll find the root of all the problems in politics.

    Not really. If you buy TurboTax or TaxCut (I prefer TaxCut because there were never any MBR records to overwrite and it's less expensive) you get 100% of penalties and interest paid if they are wrong. If your accountant is wrong I doubt you'd get the same.

    I'm not sure what you have against MBA's but you really need some anger management. Maybe try changing your email address, setup one for signups (where you must sign up to login) and one for junk mail. I get 1 in 1000 as a spam from my primary email account, 90% of my signup account is spam and almost 100% (by definition) of my junk account is spam. I use yahoo for the junk accounts and my company address for my personal account (btw I own the company so I doubt I'll get fired for using it for personal business).

    Thanks for the great link. The problem I see with using these highly configurable systems is this: when my sysadmin leaves for another job are the skills of setup on this product and administration on it more than just administering the machines directly? Plus by using a tool like that to admin are you missing possible opportunities to find better way's of making the systems operate both together and autonomously? I'm not sure.

    They keep all the focus on hacking their POS operating system and help my mac and linux servers avoid the amount of attacks that would happen if they didn't exist.

    MS is a competitive advantaget to those that compete with vendors providing MS based services. BTW my company does have MS servers, Linux servers and we are testing some new OS X server implementations to see if we can eliminate some of our admin tasks with their slick UI & tools.

    You can get the equivalent for less by running Linux (not necessarily Debian). For the price of "Hot-Swapping" CPU's you can have multiple redundant systems setup for fail over an maintenance work. It's all how creative you are in setting up your systems. I guess when it's your business you look for the best tools at the best price. You're exactly the type of closed minded IT elitist that my company would never hire. If you cannot think of more efficient, better priced solutions than "Buy Sun/IBM", I feel for any company trying to be profitable with you as the person making suggestions/decisions.

    I would have creamed in my shorts if I had games like Baldur's Gate and Neverwinter Nights when I was a kid. Hell I thought Ultima III was amazing. Then Ultima IV had secret doors!!! Then balloons for travel!!! Then 3D Dungeons!!! Amazing! That and Wizardry kept me going for years.

    I've been a liability to projects I've worked on for years. I don't need any MS source code to be a shitty worker. I get to work 15 minutes late, I come in the side door so "Lumberg" doesn't see me, ... That movie was so dead on.

    My company does internal interfaces in flash to allow total control over the environment our users work in. We plan for 800x600, 1024x768, 1280x960, 1280x1024, and 1600x1200 (or at least those are the resolutions that have to show well by spec, if someone decides to run 1152x864 or whatever it is we just don't test every single page).

    It's not rocket science. You just need a good Flash developer that thinks Globally instead of only focusing on his desktop (or grandma's).
