    Well, besides the fact that it runs BeOS R5 software natively (binary-compatible) - and is followed and supported by pretty much everyone who is left in the BeOS community, not much.

    Wow, I've seen a lot of commercial vendors doing that in the recent years also - maybe they're all suspect.

    If you change your point of view - maybe the develop of SkyOS is hoping that another corporation will buy out SkyOS and use the source for their own product(s)... embedded OS maybe?

    Maybe you missed this PSP feature: USB 2.0 connector.

    They probably packed it with driver support for HID compliant keyboards... question is: what do you have to do to make one work.
