Sounds like an idea, now we need a plan.
Here at Linuxgruven, we are currently preparing our defenses with informative documents and hot tar. The trenches will be ready within the hour.
You are partially correct. The Security Binder just came out a week or two ago. Pertaining to Linuxgruven and Sair, the fact that they did not have all of their material was one of the reasons that Linuxgruven severed ties with Sair.
I find this a bit more than harsh for a few reasons.
1. Linuxgruven Hires those that get Certification.
2. Every day the 'uninitiated' computer user takes an MCSE course that does not guarantee, and in many cases does not result in a well paying job (at least not without experience). Linux will only grow stronger if it has a continual influx of new users. It's great if admins have big heads and think themselves better than newbies, but if Linux wants to keep building an Enterprise presence, the new users will be very important. Look at Apple and Microsoft. They have realized this and taken great efforts to place their OS's in schools. If enough people know about something, it will be used. If not, it will be forgotten.
3. Let's not forget that larger companies like IBM are much harder to get a job at, especially for those lacking experience and or a degree.
Chilli
Bottom Line. Linuxgruven does not offer a job for taking a course. They offer a job to Sair LCA individuals. They also offer linux training. Take a look at IBM and see how much Linux training will cost... I think that you'll find Linuxgruven's price much cheaper.

Here's an example of a certification that might give some insight. CCIE...
Does everyone that takes the tests pass?
Scamming the uninitiated...

Some generalizations deserve a curt response...
