Anyone remember Snow Crash? Seriously, there are loads of uses for this though, not just for secirity officers, tourists etc. I'd be well up for using it just walking around town.
If everyone is carrying wirless devices, pumping out whatever info they want to passers by... this could remove the need to *talk* to strangers!
It would be pretty cool though - all the advantages of meeting and chatting online, but with the advantage of being in the *real* world.
revolution means? Going round in circles and ending up at the same place, usually with the addition of loss of life.
The thing with evolution, is that it has to be forwards, which I'm sure is what most people want to do. I know the whole idea of a revolution is very exciting and all, but isn't it time we grew up a little, rather than going backwards again?

Even worse, come are premium rate, so repying to the spam sms could cost you a bucket-load if you aren't careful...
Of course, there's nothing actually wrong with the OS they come with (Symbian OS), and version 7 will be coming soon...
Eventually these old Psion devices are going to get completely outdated, but what about the new ones by Nokia?
How about Linux on the 9200 series? Surely half the work has been done if its already been ported to a 5mx...
