TV series top my wish lists: Sopranos, Hogan's Heroes, Batman Animated, Batman Beyond,
You can start getting B:TAS in April, according to Amazon. I was hoping for a boxed set, but it's got the first five episodes in production order, so maybe they'll release more.
Also, the uncut version of the Batman Beyond movie will be out, as well as Justice League and Sub-Zero.
It changes depending on the model. Looking at Apple's Higher Education Individuals price list, the new iMacs and iBooks are $50 off across the board, but the discounts for the 550 and 667 Mhz PowerBooks are $138 and $180 respectively.
They also have a student developer program which gives you a once-in-a-lifetime 20% hardware discount if you qualify. More info here.
If you could make it horizontal, so it could slide along the bottom and not take up much room like the windows task bar, then it would be OK.
Actually, you can. Option-Shift-click the zoom box, and voila! Other zoom effects include icon size (Option-click) and label width (Shift-click), and there's also app ordering/palette placement/etc. via Applescript.
Doesn't that also make it more difficult to install new audio app? Seems worse to me.
Not really. Creator type only matters when you're double-clicking to open. Dropping the file's icon onto that of your chosen app or opening it from the menu works just as well, and you can always batch change the default with an applescript in Classic or via the Finder in X.
Maybe it's because all the alternatives are still under development? IE's really the only mature browser available for OS X. All the features are there, and they work well enough, while Omniweb, iirc, has major CSS issues to deal with, Moz/Netscape have stability and UI, and both iCab and Opera are in the time-bombed beta stage. Though iCab's "pre-release" feature set beats everyone elses, imho.
(Posted with Omniweb, which is great, as long as you're not looking at this page.)
It's on the Fight the Future film score. Carter drones a lot and repeats himself.
