It exists... Just flood your idea with advertisements, services you HAVE to sign up with to continue, and integrated viral marketing, and you'd have an IRL version of CrushLink. Sure, it was evil, but it was evil genius.
Well, I imagine you meant to say "lossy", so I won't jump on that...
But, if you've got a CD/archival-quality AAC file (I've never used iTMS, so I don't know... are they good?), and you encode to CD-quality archival LAME VBR MP3, the little bit of quality loss you recieve would be negligable, I'm sure.
Now, what I want to see is a virtual CD-R device that, when you "burn" CDDA to it, just spits out an MP3 of whatever you made... anyone have any ideas/suggestions/naysaying?
"Mozilla" is in the user-agent string because the first versions of Netscape Navigator were codenamed "Mozilla", and IE needed to maintain compatibility.
Basically, now, saying "Mozilla" in the UA is comparable to saying "Yes, it is a web browser."

And when it comes to the traffic ticket, a friend of mine forgot to pay his, was pulled over by the Police because of a suspended license due to non-payment (btw, nobody took the time to inform him that the license was suspended!) and hauled off to jail. I'm really happy that the Police caught a dangerous criminal and got him off the streets. Yikes! ----
Well, when you hear news about people causing injuries and fatal car accidents driving around after their license is suspended, "driving on a suspended license" can be seen as a legitimately serious crime.
Look at the difference between a DVD and a VHS tape going into the same 480-line screen. Even look at the difference between recording EP/SLP and recording SP. There can be a quality difference between images on the same output device.
As for HDTV, I don't know. I've never seen it. I wouldn't, though, rule out the idea that a moderately clean HDTV signal gives better picture than a moderately clean analog signal.

No... not photocopy... I do believe it's perfectly legal to sell someone a re-arranged copy of a book, although there might be sale-fraud involved if they didn't know the magazine was rearranged.
What about websites and such that give you their terms-of-use in a TEXTAREA or similar, that isn't write-protected... Couldn't I just erase the whole thing, write my own agreement, and click "I Agree".
And there's always the "I didn't click 'AGREE'... I hit Tab-Tab-Tab-Tab-Enter!" defense.

-- Digital tuners are actually quite cheap to make, far cheaper than analog tuners. ...and A CD costs less than $0.50 to make.

Oh, forget it.
Or, for that matter, just make an exec call to a trusted web browser, and open a special GET-recieving web address.
...then go to the poll, or get a standard absentee ballot.
Your inability to vote via the Internet has no bearing on your ability to vote.
Yeah, and why I have this big pile of pennies!

A cooler would probably work nicely... even has the water-drain hole where you could run (small) cables through.

Not only dangerous, but completely counterproductive.

Right.
They aren't creating a *new* work, they're modifying an existing one. Is it illegal to cut a book in half and sell it?
